whats the difference guys.. and personal experience is always a plus... is it worth it to upgrade for $1000 from a S-trim to a T-trim?

The difference is in the impeller design and case. I ran both on my 427. Ttrim can be spun faster and is efficient at higher impeller rpms. I moved to the T trim simply because the Strim I had could not keep up boost pressure at 4700 plus with my combination.

What kind of car is it going on? Built motor? Street only? Pump gas?

Basically you want the blower spinning at its most efficient speed, and this depends on your setup. The S-trim makes plenty of power for most street/pump gas setups. I have an S-trim, but looking at a T or even a JT-trim once I have my motor built.

If you have a used S-trim and need to have it rebuilt, I'd personally go ahead and have it upgraded to a T-trim. It's not going to cost much more than just to have the S-trim rebuilt at the same specs.

S-Trim makes about the same power as the T-trim until 15lbs of boost.
