Hey guys hows it going i am in need of a bit of help..today i started pulling my 331 apart that i purchased with a car and noticed that there was some scratches on the cylinder sleeves.Im hoping that the block can still be fixed..Any recommendations of any good high performance machine shops in the bay area that are trust worthy..please let me know guys if you know of any..thanx cafords and members your feedback is highly appreciated.. I wouldn't know what measurements to compare them too but let's say if you run your hand through it u can feel it...I can try to post pics tomorrow but I'm still pretty knew to the forum and not sure how to post them I can take some tomorrow maybe someone can help me post them...

Are they scratches or is it cross hatching from the honing?

do the fingernail test, if you run your fingernail across it with light pressure and it catches, its probably bad. just an easy way to check at home.
