So my block jus went, its knocking and blowibg tons of white smoke. Oil is a milkshake.

Should i just buy a used short?

Should i just have it honed and put back to gether with new seals and rings etck?

bore it and new assembly...

please leave estimates possible cost, dont got TONS of money to throw around but dont mind INVESTING it.

You just finshed an automotive program right? Why not just tear it down and rebuild it yourself. Back to stock for a cheap route or some stronger parts if you have big plans in the future

I would if i wasnt lacking the proper equipment. Hoist, engine stand, and a few others not to mention working space

Well, I found it cheaper to buy a shortblock already built out of state with good internals, than is to buy the parts and build it yourself, like I did with Keith Craft.

I was meeting up with some people from south city, pulled n the parking lot revd it a little to show off the new exhaust system. Next thing i know this thing is knockin like crazy, so im drivin it home and worse problems arise, the head gasket blows and now ton of white smoke are pouring out the car and its hard to keep ot running. But none the less she got me home. Now i gotta do a heart transplant. Lol

Lmao yeah i should of, but At that time i wasnt sure what i was gonna do with the block as far as rebuilding it, which i still havent settled. Im still hoping for a good deal on a unfinished project block or a decent price on a rebuild.
