use a spring compressor it get from autozone or harbor freight and make sure you seat the spring correct or else your car ride height will be off [patriot]

Ye benny you can rent the tool from auto zone or kragens [Wink] and if you think those are hard to put in try putting moroso drag springs in [Eek!]

Yes it should fall rite down the middle once you unwind it and put your springs in

ok. I was told that the hole on the A-arm is to small for the tool to fit thru. [Confused]

I did many times, so I gave on the spring compress way, I just did my Moroso spring this way, I just unbolted the whole control arm from the K-member, placed the spring in the perches of the control arm,then placed the jack under the control arm and jacked it into place and lined the bolt holes and bolt it in, very dangerous way of doing it but I found it easier.
