My 89 mustang runs super rich anyone know what might be wrong?? Car has a CAM but I don't believe that is causing it.. Car runs so rich at some points it will make your eyes burn.. [Frown]

What's your set up....have you recently installed a fuel pressure regulator and not set it to the right psi

where is what located? the fuel pressure regulator? you can buy a rail mount from summit for around $100

Just because your eyes are watering does not mean it's running rich.

Have you been able to experimentally conclude that the car is running rich?

Yes I have car runs very rich..timing jumps and is unsteady..any ideas why I cant seem to fix the timming to that it stays stedy enugh to time the car.. [Frown]

Take it to a shop "that specializes in mustang's" or in for a tune "if You can afford it", without the rite equipment & mechanical experience You will just be throwing part's at the car and frustatng Youself plus if it's running that rich You could end up with worse issues to deal with. That or get a friend that know's how to work on car's give You a hand. Not tryin to bash on You just givin You some honest advice.
