I was driving my fox on Friday when I felt something fall on my foot from under my dash where the clutch pedal is. I look down when I got out of the car, & these 2 things were laying on the carpet??? I tried to peek under the dash in that area, but I have no idea what I'm looking for, plus its hard for my 6-3" ass to get under the dash LOL..

What are they for & are they important???

Thanks...

Pull the drivers seat, and get after it! That is the brake pedal to master cylinder pushrod clip and washer.

Thanks. What holds them in place, & what function do they serve?

They hold a sensor on the brake pedal and also the shaft that goes to the brake booster, I could be wrong though, that clip looks like it goes on the clutch pedal but the nylon washer is definitely from the brake pedal, I just can't remember right now, I did this not too long ago when I pulled my cam covers off, the drivers seat has to come off to get tho this for sure...

It holds the brake light switch as well. Once you get your tall ass under there... it will be obvious.

LOL... I know what part you are talking about now, I remember the switch falling down a year or so ago, but hopefully I can figure out the correct orientation the parts go in...

Your car makes so much TorkZ that parts just fly off the thing during WOT!

As was said above, definitely don't drive the car until these parts are reinstalled.

Perhaps during the 5-lug conversion something may have been overlooked mistakenly during the install?

We may never hear from Epik again as once he gets his tall ass under the dash.... he may not be able to get back out!

LOL!!! Im confused though, when I did the 5 lug conversion, I never messed with the pedals since i have yet to change out the booster. Perhaps you mean the 5 speed conversion?

Like mentioned above, those part hold the pedal to the booster and also holds the brake light switch. I suppose you aren't getting any brake lights when the brake is in?

Also, if you're having a little confusion on how the parts go in (as I did), try looking at the brake pedal of your Mach 1. I believe the Mach should have similar parts you can reference.
