Had a small oil leak on my valve cover gaskets.took out put new gaskets,put everything back,and now my car has a backfire and feel lost of power.what can i check?

Check ur wires plugs timing. Did you pull of the wires changing the gasket maybe wrong firing order if so

Ill check timing,no did not take no wires out.I havent checked if they are all pluged in right.The other thing is that i didnt not notice problem until i got on the freeway and smashed on it.after that i felt like i had power loss.if i rev up to around 2,500 thats when i hear the backfire.

sounds like a bad vacuum leak.
