Want to buy an hid kit for my fox but don't knw witch one to go with.. Any recommendations? I like the 8k hid kit but wanted to ask if any of u have these or wat brand u guys have. Thanks in advanced for all the info

i have the 6000k head and fogs on my 01 cobra look good can see great just aim them right and youl be alright i have ebay kits been on 2 years now

Just so you know....

The 6500k tint is almost pure white.

700K tint~10,000k tint is blue

5000k tint is more natural sunlight

4000k tint is tint like the stock lamp, but brighter via HID of course.

I got the 8000k. I was gana get the 6000k but I lik the way the blue stands out on the 8000k. Plus my car paint is electric metallic blue. I think its gana look kick ass at night. Lol so the lights shud look kool

Honestly i liked to 10k better just because it wasn't to blue but it was nice but yea that color combo should look sick

i jus got my kit but these guys sent it for a 99 bulb size 9007 i ordered it for an 89 but the connectors connect fine should i still install it or should i send it back and get the correct one witch is 9004 bulb size...

i think you should send it back even though its a pain but get the right size dont take your chances in blowing the bulb and not getting anything back you know?

I've got the 10K kit, whichever kit you get make sure its plug and play from both sides of the stock wiring harness. I had a shit load of trouble on one that plugged in on one side and then was rewired to the battery. I said F this and went to Tognottis and paid full price on the kit i have now.

I have this same kit on my streetbike for almost 9 months now. Not any problems at all. This looks like the right kit for a fox body 87 and up cause it has the plug and play directly from each harness.

yea xentec works pretty damn good for hids i have seen it on a few of my friends cars also. And speaking of hids shoot i might just pick some up for my self there only like 40 shipped for my 02 GT

Got my kit from ddmtuning.com almost a year ago and its worked great since day one. kits start at 35 plug shipping plug and play also.

10 k...i havent had any problems with them being illegal. i mean my friend got pulled over for having 8k which is legal. my car has a bit of purple on the color so it fit perfect. there not purple butu also not blue tinted. more between. standz out. hope this helps for you decision.

yea my boy has 8k and lookz exactly like mine....and he is saying the 10k is purple purple..and where i got minez frm the 12k was completely purple

yeah just dont get the kit that you have to run a wire to the battery. too much hassle. my boy got his and was moving his litez and removing nutz and screwz for his grill and so much wire. i have the kit thatz just the ballast and straight pull into where the bulb goes.

I have 8k for headlights & fogs its more of an ice blue, my headlights are a dual beam it was extremely simply only 1 wire to the battery Just hid the wires under the radiator Cover
