I'd rather blow a headgasket than a piston ring

yes im serious...the head gasket is like a fuse, you rather it go instead of the engine...now certain applications (big horse power) you may need better head gaskets...good luck

just o ring the heads and run loc wires.
Use head studs.

if it's on a stock block, running less than 14 pounds of boost...
I'd use Fel Pro 8548pt-2 or 9333pt1
and use a good ARP head bolt.....
as stated, pop the gasket and not the motor....

Go the cheap route and run some graphite fel pros with head studs.

I have learned that when your stud"ing" and things might blow that the best head gasket is her mouth
