I have a 93 tempo 4cyl 2.3. It started yesterday when i got home from school i parked it, jumped back in it to go to the gym and got 2 blocks down the road and it died, thought it was out of gas cuz the guage doesnt work when it gets below 1/2 tank.

So i put gas this morning and it started, drove for about 3 miles den it died again. Now it wont start at all. Any suggestions??

Went bak to the car and it started for 30 seconds and turned off. Jus checked for spark on the coil and its not sparking or arching from the coil plug to any ground, is it the coil bad or am i testing it wrong?

could be an ignition module

So i jus changed the ignotion module and the coil abd the problem is intermittent, it could start one minute den cut off and not start for maybe 10 or 15 mins maybe right away.

the coil is getting voltage, and so is the module,

Could it be the ignition switch or tumbler??

I do notice that the key chime will jus turn off or on even if the key is off or on?

Bad ignition switch. Contacts are going bad in the slider. Autozone part number LS514.

I got A chance to take down the ignition, seems like its all in order, even banged it a couple times to check for shorts.

I read sum tsb's, they said common problems are thecam shaft sensors, they heat up crack den after the car reaches operating temp it cuts off..

Does that sound about rite?
