I'm working on a 95 Mustang 3.8/auto. The speedo and odometer stopped working. Other gauges work fine.
Is this the cluster?
Or is there a sensor in/on the trans that sends the speedo/odo signal?
Thanks for all replies!

Replaced the Vehicle Speed Sensor. Still no speedo or odo. Any Ideas?

is there a speedo cable from the VSS in the trans? could be stuck/broken.

if there is, remove the VSS and driven gear from the side of the trans, chuck it into a drill and spin it while somebody watches the speedo to see if it moves, try both directions.

if there's no speedo cable you can still do the same thing just have the key in run so the ecu is on

that will help narrow it down.
