Topic: long shot..but chevy tahoe tranny problems?? anyone?

i have a 2003 chey tahoe me and a friend jus put a tranny in. for some reason it wont shift from 2 to 3 or through out the rest of gears. but from 1 to 2nd its perfect. its a rebuilt tranny nice etc. jus wondering if anyone knows wats up. i took to chevy dealership they said i need to put it on a obd reader they said theyd do it for 200 dollars....ummmm ya anyways help me out if u can.. apreciate all the help

Double check your electrical connections on the tranny. Usually in safe mode the tranny has only 2nd and 3rd gear while in Drive.
