SO my car had clogged cats.. i fixed that
but it still seems to hesitate at open throttle if i go easy it seems to drive faster?? ive tried playing wtih timing just by sound of motor when i twist the distributor not having much luck with that either.. any help appreciated.

Did you replace your oxygen sensors when the cats were replaced?

Edit: Timing by ear.... Just plain stupid....... [Roll Eyes]

When was ur last tune up? Plugs, wires, cap and rotor coil guel filter?

did not replace 02 sensors no..

havent done a tuneup yet, gonna do that hopefully it will do something. i recently bought the car.
the cats were clogged pretty bad

just posted the thread to see if anyone else has had same problem in the past on these LX's.

Thanks for input hopefully the tuneup will make it run a bit better.

did tune up.. plugs/ wires/ even went extra mile put in MSD dist. and wires still bogs or has no power if i stomp on it from 0mph... what could it be leading too?? injectors fuel pump??

Give it a complete tune up. Get a timing light and set it at 10 degrees initial. Clean out the MAF sensor. Then start pulling your hair out if the problem is still there. The stupid stuff can kill you sometimes if you don't check the easy stuff first.
