What size clutch 10.5" or 11"? Daily driver had a Mcleod clutch in it. Want something similar in performance but lighter pedal. What do you suggest? Thanks

i have the centerforce dfx clutch.... OMFG on an aluminum flywheel it would grab WAY too hard to live on the street at all. then i went to a steel flywheel and its a damn good clutch combo. it either snuffs the motor, launches or burns the tires off. the order is usually reversed from how i listed them.

cant go wrong with the tried and tested line of centerforce clutches. at least thats what my favorite mechanic who runs 10 second drags and was on a trans am race team tells me.

Yeah i'm leaning towards a centerforce. I like that the pedal isn't as harsh as the mcleod. But i know the TKO needs a 26spline what size clutch works with the TKO and the Mcleod pressure plate?

A Centerforce clutch disc with a McCleod plate? Really? Stick with the same manufacturer.

I have had good luck with CF Dual Friction clutch kits, although now I am running a Superior clutch kit at the recommendation of Modern Driveline. My Kevlar/Kevlar clutch kit from Superior is also 4 pounds lighter than the DF that it replaced.

Yeah that's what i was wondering if i could just swap discs and leave the mcleod pressure plate. If it's not good to do that then i'll be getting another mcleod disc in there. Thanks.
