On my 95 it be sputtering under acceleration.what could it be.is there a way to check if the dist is still good.has new plugs and wires and already changed the coil.maby the mass air?

does it sputter all the time?? what did u gap the plugs at?

ive got somewhat the same problem. list your mods and what you have checked.

check your plugs, make sure its getting enough fuel, make sure you dont let it go under 800rpm while launching from a stoplight.. my car HATES me when i give it too much clutch and not enough gas.

Yes but its not a very bad sputter its a lite one but its still there you know.they are around 48 gap

Mods are H/C/I and supporting mods

Check:

- Plugs
- dist cap and rotor
- wires (loose or burnt)
- fuel pressure
- vaccum leaks
- fuel leaks around the intake
- check engine codes

Once you have checked these post up the results [patriot]

I had the same problem, re-gapped my plugs and problem solved.

Start small, try cleaning the massair if you havn't already, and also make sure your rockers are adjusted right.
