Guys my boy got a 91gt which runs real good no issues except for at times it wouldn't start(it cranks).first we thought fuel filter(changed)fuel pump?we check there's constant preasure on the shrader valve, distributor module was next in line(replaced)at one time it wouldn't start he pulled main spark plug wire from coil and no spark, coil?it still happens at time and now he got stuck while driving and after he stopped for 5 min started again no problem.

So iam thinking coil but will that have intermitent issue?
Any help advise guys thanks.

had a bad coil one time that acted like you're describing.

when this happens im assuming that it is just cranking and not starting rather than let say the starter not engaging the flywheel properly or something. if its cranking with no start have you made sure to check the the coil is getting 12v when this problem arises? could the ignition switch have a funky spot on it or a loose wire coming out? i havent been under there in a while but those would be some places to check if you arent getting power to the coil.

it cranks all the time, but sometimes it wouldnt ignite,i guess is the best way for me to describe it.it also happens quick like 2,3 minuites.one time it lasted longer so my boy took out his ignition spark tester and no spark coming out of the coil so automatically we assumed bad coil and replaced instantly.but after couple of days it started again and even onetime it happpened while driving.
