i was checking around to see prices on fans and one of my friends advised me to go to a wrecking yard and take one off of a 2000 camaro does anyone on this board know what car came with a good cooling system.ill be buying two one for my 66 f100 with a 460 and one for my boys 72 chevelle with a 454 any help would be great

i had dual fans out a buick and my engine stayed cool at all times

dodge intrepid, dual fans very shallow depth
mark8, huge 2-speed fan, tons of air flow...but huge
taurus, slightly smaller than mark8, 2-speed
4.6L thunderbird, similar to mark8

I'm running an sn-95 fan. Dual speeds and flows excellent. Pulls a shit load of amps. Make sure u run a 75 amp relay & decent gauge wire

Good choice for a big block. These things pull like 4500 cfm. Just make sure your alternator is up to the task because they also pull 30 amps.

Thunderbird SuperCoupe. Monster 2-speed fan! Cools a supercharged motor. As stated, you better have a good alt!
