so those 275 would actually fit? im just wondering because i can get some 275/40zr17 from my boy for cheap, but have 235 on there right now...

yup I got 275/40r17 in my fobra with no quad shock and fits good I even got me a set of spare wheels 275/35r18 and I have no problem at all either

275 will theoritaclly fit, might be a bit bulged though since being an 8" wheel. I got 275 on my 17x9's.
