aight heres what happened one day i decided to start my mustang and it started up just fine. i started it , let it un for a while then drove it around the block a few times then i park it in front of my house and shut it off. ten min pass i got to put back in drive way and shit didnt start , just turns over so i check the coil by switching to one off my other 5.0 and the dist. too check all the wires , links everything and still no spark and now im stuck.oh had to try to set timing when replacing the dist. but other wise im lost. any suggestions?????.......long ass story..lol

Well if you had a bad tfi then using a good known working distributor would tell you. I would use your brothers coil, see if that works.

So did you actually see if there was spark, either with a tester or by hold a plug to the block?

grounded the wire and besides it didnt start with the tfi from the other dist. either and ms msd runs perfect in my other stang. last time i ran into this it was the coil but already changed that and still no luck.

so u do have an ignition box in this car? did you change that or disconnect?

no box stock ignition stock coil ,just msd dist. and thats it.
