I tried the search and had no positive results. I know someone has posted this before, but I just havent seen it. Where is a good place to have aroll cage put in my 89 hatch in the bay area. I live in Mountain View and the closer the better. Also what is going to be the price for the cage in install (estimate). If any of you know a place can you tell me where and also can you post some pics of thier work.

Thanks cafords

Way random. Need to be a bit more specific; bar or cage, number of points, material used, type of car, etc.

If it's not a all-out race car, you have the ability to weld two bars (or someone to do it), and can drill 16 holes...put in a MM 6 point roll bar with swing out door bars. That's what I did with my 93 Cobra.

If you don't want to do it yourself, it's not gonna be cheap. A install for the above would be at least $400, not including parts.

Sorry, Its a 89 hatchback and I would like a 8 point or 6 point and I dont know the exact rules for the strip but I want it to be legal for hitting 10's in the future. I also heard that the bolt in ones are not as good as weld in. If thats not the case is there anyone experienced with installing a bolt in. I would be will ing to pay for the services. Also Johnb do you have any pics of you 93, just curious on the swing out door bars.

Thanks

Maier did a gorgeous cage for my hatch. I didn't have him build it with the intentions of passing 10 sec. tech at the drags(not the car's intent), but he can build it to specs if you want.

Is there any way someone could give me Tobias' number. I've heard a lot of good things but can't seem to get a number or a location. I heard Castro Valley. I need a 4 or 6 points but don't have a fortune but am willing to pay.
