2000 gt door problem - Northern California Ford Owners

2000 GT hard top, when u open the driver door it drops about a 1/2 inch and is a bitch to shut. anybody else have this problem>? is it a pin and bushing problem????

u gotta slam it hrd! i know this sounds weird but u gotta reset the pin and bushings, if it dont work the first time slam it harder till it works!then go to the other side and slam it too to reset them equally!

if it dont work <sometimes this can take a half hour>. take a break and drink a red bull then slap yourself for not slammin the door hard enough ,then go back and kick it closed< but be carefull as to not leave a dent!>.
it needs new pin and bushing you might of been able to save, but you dummy, you kept slammin the door to much and now you ruinend them.lol!
