I'm looking to add a supercharger to my 347. This is for my daily driver, one guy I'm asking for info is insisting that meth injection is required for 10:1
Is meth injection really necessary on a 10:1 street motor??

10:1 is pretty high for a blower. You can probably get away with it but it is gonna be tricky.
I wouldn't run over 6lbs of boost and get a "really" good tune.
Is meth required? That is something you should talk to your tuner about. However, either meth or an intercooler would help keep your charge temps down .

I would def run a meth kit. Or blow a headgasket then get the meth kit.

Snow performance makes the best kit on the market.

Well it depends. Do you have the ability to switch tunes on the fly? For a DD and to reap the benefits from the meth kit your timing/fuel can be set a lot more aggressively as compared to without it. With a 10:1 motor and a blower your not going to want to have that tune+blower+high timing and the meth to "run out" and have not way to go back to a NA tune (unless you carry a timing light/tools with you . If you do have access to the eec then sure a meth kit will be worth it on a DD. BTW a 10:1 +blower is not all that bad. Your tune has to dog it a bit though with the timing and fuel and it will be pretty safe.
