So the other night I decided while drinking to go ahead and start my Explorer intake install. Bad Idea, well not really everything went alright but my biggest mistake was not making sure I set the piston to #1 TDC. So now after trying numerous times to remember where the rotor was in relation to the cap, I give up. Now how is the easiest and smartest way to get piston to TDC #1 and how do I tell when its on the compression stroke too.......

I know I am a " insert caption here" but I need your help. [Smile] Thanks

pull out #1 spark plug and put your finger over it and rotate the motor over till you feel air blowing out when it stop you are near tdc. put the dist. in point the rotor to the #1 cylinder. set the timming with a light
