it all depends man, what kinda power your making? race care or dd? are you gunna keep this car for awhile or plan on selling it within a few years? If it were my Notch id prolly save up the extra 100 dollars (I know brother money is hard to come by these days!)figuring vert mounts cost like 50 bones and get some prothane motor mounts and never have to replace them ever again, on the other hand you could get suffecient service from some vert mounts as well!good luck on your choice! ive seen cheap vert mounts last as long as the cheap prohane ones ,solid i love but give a little chassis noise, the verts for your dadly driver for the win.

I would just go with some stock replacements IMO
Heard you run into clearance problems with polyurathane but have not had hands on experience with them. But if you were to still use some rubber stockers you should still be good to go.

reply to all****

thanks for the info... and its more of a weekend car now cause i picked up a little s10 and its making some descent power nothing to crazy but it will in the future. and another question what is the difference between prothane solid and vert mounts..as in strength, ride quality and noise because ride quality isnt really and issue strength is

Energy suspension. Prothanes are cheaper but raise the engine a bit

do convertable motor mounts interfere with longtubes?

No, they won't cause any issues with LT's.
I've run autozone vert mounts on my 93 for years...no issues.

why does everyone run vert mounts?

cause there just as strong or close to as the poly , but cheap auto zoze is like 20 25 bucks a peice. there also supposed to be 1/2 inch lower but i cant personal confirm.but there cheap and strong...
