traction gets to be real seriouse problem ,means you go slower than stock.if not taken care of,better be doin traction home work and then ser chassis bracing.

What exactly do you want to know? 460 swaps were big in the 80s, but since there are so many cheaper and better ways to make power now, they aren't that popular anymore. D&D is probably the only one left making kits (oil pan, mounts & headers). Unless you already have a built 460 ready to go into a chassis, I wouldn't bother.

in the early 90s before any company started making swap kits for 460 people were doing it all over north carolina, chicago, etc etc even some came in magazine covers, but most people said it was good but made the car heavy and had some trouble with the torque

but just do some more research before anything but just stroke a 351

Ya, that's what it is. I run a tiny 393w. Wanna run?

460 swaps are sooooo 1980's. You gonna buy a IROC with T-tops next? lol

Do a big block swap just to do it. There is no reason to put a big dinosaur in your car other than to be different.

BBFs are so 80s? Hahah, I doubt Jon Kaase would agree with you guys. Remember most of the folks on this forum are driving around in 80s cars. While I agree small blocks are making great power these days, BBFs are making more than ever too. It's hard to argue with the power and torque of 500+ cubic inches.

A friend of mine has a 514 in his Fox. It makes well over 600hp on 91 pump at a mile elevation. It's one of the nastyiest Stangs I've ever seen or heard.

I think the real question here is are you going to actually set up your chasis front to back for a bbf or just a 460 swap and stock replacement suspension mods? If you aren't goin all the way with it all you are going to have is a tire melting machine, but it would sound great. My vote is for a big inch small block.

There is nobody that builds motors in KAASE league on here. I doubt someone has a KAASE built 460 they are gonna stuff in their fox.
