so i got a tune back in June, my motor mounts were bad so the guy couldnt get everything out of the car. I made 320rwhp back then. Since then I have new motor mounts and a fluid dampner crankshaft pulley and power streering pulley. I made 337rwhp today with perfect weather conditions. I know its a little high, even 320 last time was high. Check out the graph and air fuel ratio and let me know what you guys think. No torque and rpm reading. But he went all the way to 7200 rpm.
I have full exhaust, intake, short runner, IMRC delete, fluid dampner crankshaft pulley.

The lower line on the graph is my tune from last time and the line on top is from today !!

not bad... what does your exhaust consist of? time to throw some cams/ported heads in the mix and make MORE POWER!!... lol...

Congrats, nice numbers. They do seem a tad on the high side, because I have never seen a car with b heads put down anything close to that with so few mods, but great numbers nonetheless..

It seems that on FFP's dyno some cars make way more power than they should, & others make less than they should [Confused] I still remember the Mach 1 that supposedly made 350rwhp with nothing but a K&N, O/R exhaust, & electric water pump [BS flag]

how hard was it to install the electric water pump?

I don't have 1, but I was referring to another Mach that got dynotuned at ffp that was running an electric water pump...

gq916: who did the short runner for you? how much did it cost?

Good numbers bro. im hoping my fox puts down someting near that.

The numbers do seem a little high however. Looking at those readings if you got 337 to the wheel you should have around 380-400 at the crank. The tune and your bolt ons gave you a 100hp over the stock setup. If the numbers are right then thats pretty bad ass.

50+ rwhp over a stock car...from a tune, intake, pulleys, and exhaust? These cars were lucky to make 280 in stock form.

You should go buy a lotto ticket.

These are my power adders
JLT RAI, 03 Cobra MAF, March fluid dampner, ps pulley
Bassani Midlengths & O/R X pipe, SLP LM II exhuast
Short Runner, IMRC delete

I'm going to AED for a dyno one of these days to see what it puts out on their dyno. I'll post graphs when i do.

$25 for one pull with A/F.

BTW, we just had a 10psi 03 Cobra setup put down 399RW through an auto.
On FFP's dyno with a high compression shortblock & 8psi he got 480RW out of the same car. LOL

My own car on FFP's dyno put down 507RW thru a C4....ran 10.1 in the 1/4.
Added 2psi & swapped to a TH400.....put down 686RW on my dyno & ran 9.9 in the 1/4.

Our Shingle Springs dyno is calibrated within 1/2% of our San Jose Dynojet 224.

That is a ton of N/A power with just bolt-ons.

My 2001 Cobra with Longtube BBK, BBK catted H-pipe, and Borla cat back did 292RWHP at Apex back when Byron was there.

Later I installed Foxlake Racing heads 305 CFM intake and 240ish exaust at .5 or .6in lift can't remember and had them install ModMax Cams too. It was $1600 in cams and $3k in heads back in 2002. Anyhow with the addition of those items and bbk cold-air, 65mm twin TTB, and JLT it did 337RWHP and 290RWTQ with Byron.

FYI: I wouldn't get heads or cams on a 4v Cobra again..ever ever ever.

Foxlake sent me 3 set of ported heads over 16 month period because they kept over porting and I would leak coolant out of the exaust. At the end the 3rd set didn't leak, but after about a week my shortblock died..

Then I spent 3yrs with Powerheads Longblock 302 that got replaced twice with while re-using the same Fox lake heads. Ralph at Powerheads assembled the entire longblock and twice it worked like crap and ran like it too. It did 348RWHP 330RWTQ, but it wasn't something dependable and the heads made a rattle noise..After changing all the timing chains and tensioners and 3yrs I gave up and the 10k longblock never worked as it should have. In the end it wouldn't even start. Ralph told me other people were making 400RWHP with the same longblock, so I don't know what went wrong with mine.

IMHO: 4V heads flow great in stock form, just put some boost and save yourself. You should invest your money in bost and a Tremec or C4.
