Hey just gotta quick question does anyone know how much it would cost to turn a 4 cylinder to a v8 conversion? Thinkin about just buying a cheap 4 banger

really, if you have to ask, it's too much for you.


the easiest way is to find a wrecked 5.0 from the SAME YEAR to use as a donor for all the parts you'll need.

It will nickle and dime you ALL The WAY. Im happy with mine though...You can really take the time and customize it to your satisfaction.

Thats pretty good at $1,900. I paid $4,000 for mine so thats not bad.

BTW I have an ORIGINAL 5.0 notchback with ALL black inti and only 83k miles.

But really it comes down to preferrence.

IMO you should just find a nice original 5.0 coupe.

you can do it..do your research and just work on it little by little..my next coupe will be a conversion just because i want the body imac, and i wanna get the chance to build my car myself..

i agree if not its going to be a complete bitch i just did 2.3 to 5.8 and had to find parts

Theres a couple on Craigslist for as low as $2,000. They mite need some work but nothing conversion type status...
