hey guys i havent been on for a long while but i do need some input.

1993 mustang 5.0 5speed
has any one messed with wiring harness as in unwraping it to check for wires? if so has any one noticed a few wires wrapped in foil tape along with a ground (uninsulated) wire?

now i follow it and it ends at the distributor harness. the unisulated gound wire is not connected to nothing at the engine side but it wraps the wires nd then taped with foil tape.
the unisulated wire is gounded with another ground wire with stock connecter. this is all odd to me.
is this all correct wiring?

any input would be greatly appreciated honestly. thanks in advance.

That is factory,
The foil wrapped wires are for the distributor signal, this helps protect them from electrical interference since they run with wires of voltage in the harness.
