how do you adjust a cluth pedal because my pedal has to be down to the floor

Where the clutch cable connects to the fork on the tranny there should be a long bolt type deal thing with a nut attached to it. Tighten up that bolt and see what happens.

If by some chance it still has the factory quadrant, put you foot under the clutch pedal and pull it up, then push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. If it made a click or pop noise, it is now adjusted. If it still releasing too low, you need a clutch.
