90 ho motor in 73 bronco.I have an aftermarket harness everything on engine is new.I got codes 81,82,84,85,33 which the harness instructions said are normal. It runs so rich at idle it burns your eyes.Besides that it runs good base timing 10,fp at idle 40 with vac line off.I drove around about 150 miles to let the computer re learn everything.I just quit driving because you can't even stand around it at an idle or you will smell like exhaust fumes it's really bad any suggestions?

check the the coolant temp sensor and the air temp sensor. If these test ok; then look at the mass air, and O2 sensors being lazy or working improperly as well. Good luck. [patriot]

84 and 33 are egr codes sounds like bad egr and or 02 sensor

the 33,84 codes are normal when smog stuff is deleted. The wire harness has a diode in it to give the signal to the computer about the egr so it won't make the engine poorly.
