my brakes feel fine most of the time but sometimes when i try to brake it feels like i dont have brakes at all i have to put the pedal all the way to the floor and glide to a stop

master cylinder or booster both are easy to change
also check all 4 corners n see any fluid run off

first try and flush out your brake mastercylinder and lines
