When I bought my svo it came with a 94 cobra driveshaft, I'm considering putting an aluminum one, is there a big weight difference between the 2 or would I be wasting money buying a new one.

The difference is nearly 15 lbs. Less rotational weight = free HP, but of course there is a cost upfront. Your call...
