I pulled out the axles out of my 68 mustang and now in need to replace them. Any suggestions how to take them off or take them to get them removed and install new bearings?? I know that u need a press to take them off.

slide hammer should do the trick to take them off. to install hem u can rent a bearing installer at kragen or autozone or u can do it like i did and use a BFH and a 2x4. lol

Axle bearings press on. You could cut them off and then have new ones pressed on or just take them to a shop and have it done. Most machine shops can handle this task for you.
