Tommorow I will be installing some aftermarket 93 cobra side skirts on a LX is it neccesary to use the GT side skirt attachment metal plates that go on the rocker panels or just use the double sided 3M molding tape.I test fit them and it seems they dont sit all the way flatagainst the rocker .Any comments or ideas is very appriciated and will be taken in cinsideration.

Do your aftermarket pieces have the retaining lips like the factory parts do? If so, you would use them. If they don't, you'll have to drill all the rivets out that hold them on and use doublesided tape.
