Something is most likely throwing a code which is causing it to go into limp mode, run the codes on it (if you don't have a reader go to a little diagnostic shop), go from there.

There is a trick to pull codes hold down the trip/odem while you start the car dont relese it till it enter dtc mode after that push it a few times till you see DTC or MIL it will tell you the code post the code and someone can tell you on here whats wrong. Good luck
