my car is bone stock.It has a t5 trans.Im having a problem with the idol.some times when i start it,it dies.or it will idol up and down then idol fine.I have put a full tune up on it and replaced vac lines.also checked the timing.10 degrees base.also some times when I gas it my check engine light comes on then goes off.help thanks.

clean your throttle body and iac out.

sounds like a problem with the EGR to me, have you scanned the car for codes?

I did the key on engine off codes.there is three steps to pulling the codes.i have the obd 1 scan tool just not to sure of doing the last 2 steps.my egr did have broken lines which i fixed.
