i just installed an x pipe on a 88 coupe auto trany but this x pipe doesnt have the hole to put the steel line that comes from the smog pump so up on the top of the headers i just plugged the rubber line that hooks up to the steel line and drove it around and then when i came back it was leaking coolant from onthe top of the lower intake can someone please let me know what to do thanks

what kind of x-pipe is it and is the right year for your car?

if it has no cats then you dont need it. supplies oxygen to the cats from the smog pump. as for the leak, has nothing to do with it.

cause it was fine and then i took it for a test drive and when i came back it was leaking from the tempeture sending unit and i was thinking that me plugging the rubber line with a bolt maybe put pressure in the system

if that was the case, putting a supercharger or turbo on a car would cause coolant to spew out.
