I own a 2004 Mach 1. It recently recieved an '04 Cobra longblock. Since the longblock can handle more boost than a stock Mach 1 block, I am now running a 2.76 pulley with 63lb injectos and stock Cobra tank/pumps with a KB BAP. It was previously tuned using Sniper with a sniper 95mm MAF, but the shop tunes with SCT so I have switched to SCT now. Which means going with an SCT 2600 MAF instead for tuning reasons. Now the shop has mentioned that in the datalog something has come up with the FPDM not seeming to be functioning correctly. What I am curious about is whether or not the Mach 1 and 03-04 Cobra FPDMs are different? If they are, could this cause a problem? Any help would be apprectiated. I want to get this problem ironed out as quickly and easily as possible. The shop has a 2600 in stock to swap in, so I'll just sell the Sniper MAF, making things move along. But I don't have the full story on the FPDM yet. Just trying to get a jump in things.
THANKS!

Cobra, Mach 1, GT, V6 all use the same FPDM from 99-04. You can get your FPDM modified or get a second FPDM with the wiring

Ok thanks! I should know more today, but if it is it, I've been advised to pick up a stage 2 modified FPDM, so that may be the route I go if there is a problem with it.

No, they're not. However, from 03 on all are the same as the Cobra unit.

I have an FPDM from a 99 V6. You're welcomed to try it out if it solves the problem then send me a donation. If it doesn't then just send it back.

I used a Lethal Performance Zone 5 stage 2 with Dual Aviators and haven't had any FPDM overheating problems.

Look it up, all the same part number from ford. XR3Z-9D372-AC. When I switched to an 03 cobra tank and pumps in my 2000GT I didn't swap FPDMs and had ZERO issues.
