My 88 vert doesn't start when i opend the switch i dont hear the pump come on. I disconnect the fuel line, try to start it and gas vearly comes out. I replaced the fuel pump and the relay under the seat but still won't start. Is there any thing else I should check?

If your fuel pump is not working it could be the inertia switch.
Also, check fuel pressure and make sure your regulator is not hosed.

You can bypass the switch

check the relay under the driver seat. When I had my Fox it went out and that sounded exactly like the problem you are having

Ok so I ran a wire traight from the vattery to the pink wire on the relay under the seat and the car started for like 5 seconds and shut down. I tried again and it doesn't start it just crancks I'm running out of ideas

Are you sure it isn't the coil or ignition module because ddoes are really common to go out.
