u have an adj fuel pressure regulator?

Yes I've tried ajusting it also, from 20lbs to 40lbs no difference, I had the car idleing the other day with out the blower or maf hooked up and it ran and idled, now with the blower hooked up and the maf hooked up it runs like poo! I have fuel vapor coming out of the filled neck like crazy, could it be the actual maf sensor?

Ok so I pulled the plugs out and cranked it over to clear the motor out and then let it sit for a bit to let it air out, then disconnected the maf and it seems to idle, so that would seem to be the maf sensor right?

forgive my ignorance, what is a H/C/I? Anyway, check your coolant temp sensor, make sure it is plugged in, also check your air temp sensor, make sure it is plugged in and working correctly also. Both sensors can cause this problem, with incorrect readings.

They are both plugged in and was all in working condition when pulled apart, running gt40x heads, custom cam and a systemax intake

These sensors arnt doing a damn thing for 2 minutes after startup so initially they wouldnt be the problem. There not used until the ecm switches into closed loop mode.

Hey B you sure you didnt mess with the tps? I wonder if we should do a leakdown to see if that runner is leaking. You never know.

I'm stumped! What's the difference in a fox and a sn95 style meter? Maybe my car needs a sn95 style electronics? But then again it has a a9l in it? What's the difference in low/high impedance injectors? Maybe I need one or the other?

Not much i believe the only difference is the temperature at witch they run, low imp injectors run at higher temps then high imp. I dont think it should matter.

93 and earlier ECM's use different pinouts at the ECM than 94/95. They are not interchangeable without modifications to the wiring. Also is MAF calibrated for the 42# injectors?

My car has the pro-m swap, the car was running and driving and smogged before I pulled it apart to pull the heads/cam/intake on with the 42's and the c&l with the 42lb sample tube.

OK. So when you disconnect the MAF, the car will run, right? If thats the case it doesnt sound like a mechanical problem. What exactly did you change besides the intake and injectors, if anything?

Yes with the maf unhooked it is still hard to start but I can get the car to idle, can't really rev it up or drive it but it idles. Hook the maf up and it is hard to start and if it does it runs really rough and just isn't right, if you crank it with out flooring it ( flooring the pedals cuts off the injector pulse) it will just foul out the plugs, they are soak with has. I changed my heads, cam, intake manifold and swapped 36lb and a pro-m to 42lb and a c&l. Just don't get what would cause it to dump that much fuel! I get this smoke coming out of the fillrneck that smellslike raw fuel! I'm gonna try putting. Set of stock 19lb injectors and a stock maf to seekf it will run right, if it does then at least I know it's inthe injectors of maf.

i;ve always read that those c&l maf are hit or miss with their sample tubes. try borrowing someone's maf calibrated for 42lbers and see if there's a difference.

you are getting raw fuel "smoke" out the fuel filler or oil filler? If it is the oil filler, you may have washed the cylinders from all the excess fuel and the oil is most likely fuel contaminated.

Ya it's coming fromthe oil filler neck, and the oil does have fuel in it, I will be bringin oil home with me tomorrow to change it. I will try to see if I can borrow a maf from somebody, is it just the sample tubes that are screwed up?
