window switch = one more thing to fail

100% not needed, just dont be a dumbass and hit the kit at idle waiting at a stop light

I 100% DISAGREE. Miss a shift and hit the factory rev limiter and your motor is done.

I do agree with the stop light comment though [Wink]

Not true..I've miss shifted into third without having a window switch at close to 6k and my motor lived to see alot more race days..now if your constantly missing all the time, then maybe but it doesnt necessarily mean your gonna blow your motor over a miss shift spraying without a window switch..Jus learn how to drive with nitrous and you should be fine..

Whats a window switch?

provides an open or closed circuit based on the engine being between two RPM's that you chose, so that you'll only flow nitrous in a certain range. example: between 3k rpm's and 6k rpms

you have a mod motor [Roll Eyes]

try that with a 302 based motor... [Wink]

if you miss shift at close to 6k, lets say 5.8k, and you have a window switch(activated 3-6k), wouldn't that contact be closed (current flowing through) which means the nitrous would be activated? So in a sense it would be better to NOT have a window switch because at 5.8k your micro switch wouldn't be activated because the pedal isn't to the metal, thus no nitrous to cause a catastrophe??

JW because I run ZEX and everyone knows that is the safest nitrous ever. [Roll Eyes]
