ok i know you tell the problem over the net but maybe its common? i just picked up a 96 cobra has 75k on it with 4.30s lol the owner didn't even know. was driving home when i noticed rpms were high anyways. when i make a left hand turn i hear a slight knocking coming from the passenger side rear. Thanks Jacob

could be the clush sleeve on the pinion of the diff.

I just started noticing the same clunking noise on my cobra. I can only hear it when making left turns. Sounds like it's coming from the rear of the passenger side. Maybe my mods have something to do with it? I have lca'w, panhard, and torque arm.
Please let me know if you know what this might be. Thanks!

one of my lca's made a nice sound like that and it so happened to be in my 96 cobra, what i found out it was was the side of the bushing on the axle had been eaten away and when i turned the whole lca slid along the bushing past where the side was eaten away and hit the bracket, but that was mine it still could be a rear end issue, check you bushings though
