Seems like the noise only comes on when the car is idling, at a stop sign for example. It only seems to happend after the car is warmed up, doesnt do it when I first start the car. Any clues? Seems like it is coming from the power steering area.

Pop the hood and see if you can see where the sound is coming from

electric fan? pull over next chance you get and open up the hood then listen where its coming from. Let us know what area its coming from.

AC clutch, PS pump, or belt tensioner.

3 foot plus length of fuel hose, held to your ear-
move it around until you source the noise- ancient greasemonkey trick!!

PS- don't let the end of the hose get sucked up by the fan belt! Or loose clothes, long hair, neck ties, etc- a little public service announcement there...

+1 check your belt tensioner and belt first. If your belt is stretched or tensioner is worn it could do this
