I think you may be in the need of some blinker fluid i have a quart at home ill sell you for $20....
its pretty hard to find..

doesn't sound like its the rear end, if it was it should only be making noise when the car is moving, because that is the only i time when there are any components moving in your rear end

check you transmission could be an issue with that
