How thick is the spacer ? I believe they need to be one inch thick to space the wheels out on an early mustang. Hope it helps.

With right set up you dont need spacers in the front or rear. With spacers they dont recommend going over 75mph.I dont use any spacers and I can run any 17x8 mustang OEM factory style wheels,w 5.72 bs.Get a k-member that made for a 64-66 ask Sonny FoxLightning where you can buy one.All your prblems will go away, just take @ his 68build pictures....

kenny, go get the 1" spacers at togs. and get some extended studs. cheapest and easiest way to go. do this for the front only, the rears fit just fine.

1" spacers with lugs attached are fine. Your offset should be close to 0. Offsets on Cobra wheels are around +24mm which is close to an 1"

I'm running 1" spacers all around on my '68 w/Bullitts. Bought mine on ebay for $50 (for 2 spacers w/lugs). They work fine. Don't forget though, you're definitely going to need to roll the fender lips. I did on my '68 and the '67-'68's have more room in the fenderwells than the '65-'66's.

okay i got them on. and so far they look fine. i dont think ill havta roll the fenders. but not positve cause the back is still jacked up waiting for the posi and gears to get here
so not positive yet. possibly looking two buy 2 spacers for the back

your gonna need spacers in the back too. i prefer running spacers with extended arp studs rather than the adapters i had some billet ones made for $50 a pair, lmk if you need some
