Tried bolting up the 16" waffles from my 98 Mustang GT onto my 73 Mercury Marquis (which has stock 15" steelies and front disc bakes) and the hub opening on the waffles are too small. However i've seen waffles and other late model Mustang wheels bolted to early Mustangs with no prob.
Do the full size Fords/Mercs/Lincs use truck size rotors & wheels? What size/bolt spacing/ hub diameter/application rims should I be looking for?
Any and all replies appreciated.

i fit Mustang wheels on my explorer with a small spacer to push the wheel out and clear the front hub...hope it helps
