my freinds 93 5.0 when he pulls out his dipstick the oil looks fine just a lil dirty maybe needs an oil change but at the tip theres maybe a milimeter of soot looks like mud or something possibly metal shaving? no knocking or anything car runs excellent? WTF? lol anyone have any responses as to what to do or what?

i know a blown head gasket this isnt one..its not milky its dark greyish..

I had a problem that i thought was a head gasket, but it wasn't it was gas getting in there from somewhere.

theses engines arent new..maybe its jus sludge buildup in the motor

not changing the oil enough..... most likely wear and tear from crappy oil

before he changes the oil next time tell him to run motor flush for like 3 min then drain

Cause somethng has to be mixing with the oil to make mud

Found out my boy was racing and swangn it the day before and was runnin up to 5000 rpm....i very little shiny specs of metal but jus a lil engine aounda fine and evrything ao we run gunk engine flush for 5 minutes and do the oil change ... Told em to drive it for a day or to and come back so we cud check the oil....hopefully his shits fine other wise well have to throw a stroker in that beast! [burnout]
