i have an 88 mercedez its a 190e with a 2.3.
I installed pads on both the front and rear, next i wanted to bleed the lines(system) but now i have worse pedal than before. is there a specific way or an order of doing them. Does the engine need to be running? please if anyone has any information or can suggest a solution please do so

check that u put the pads the right way any squeking or loud clunking?....does it feel spongey or what?

pads are good. i replaced them because i did have spongy pedal. after i blead them, i lost all pressure and cant get nothing on the pedal now so now im wondering if theres a special way to bleed this type of car.

Hey man thanks a lot. I was on that forum but couldn't find a solution. That looks like it my do the trick, I guess ill post up the results in a few mins while I give it a go........

First start off with the basics. When bleeding brakes you start from passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front then driver front. Pump 3 times, hold then loosen bleeder screw on caliper. You need another person to perform this. Also do not let the brake fluid go below minimum while bleeding.
