Well i recently had patriot stage 2 heads and comp cams installed on my 00 GT, my set up includes bbk shorty headers and bbk underdrive pullies. Now since day one i heard a whistling noise coming from the engine...it sounds a lot like a blower....and honestly if i didnt know what i had and i was to hear the car for the first time id think it was a blower as well. It was faint at first but now its really getting loud as the engine is breaking in....is this something that always happens with this set up? or is this something i should be worried about? please let me know because i will stop driving around on it if its harming the block or internals in any way.

oh i forgot to add bbk CAI, 75mm throttle body, and inlet penelum as well.

sounds like alternator or some other belt driven accessory's bearings are going out, like the tensioner or an idler pulley.
