I have a 1990 LX, 4cyl/auto hatch. Also have a 1995 GT(aode) I just picked up.

Question basically is; Can I swap ALL the suspension, engine, tranny stuff from the '95 to the '90 without too much hassle?

What would I have to do in order to SMOG the '90LX with all the '95 stuff on it? Thanks.

personally I would get a `87-`93 intake manifold, headers, smog pump, h-pipe, tab/tad/egr solenoid, egr sensor/spacer setup, and a 1990 wiring harness and computer (most is junkyard'able for pretty cheap).

if you just drop it straight in with all of the `95 stuff, you would run into issues 1) wiring the car, and 2) when it comes time to smog it won't look like a stock 1990 5.0

suspension wise, I would just swap everything straight over, it will fit fine, just be careful with what wheels/tires you run in the rear because of the wider track width of the `95's rearend vs a fox.
